About the Recipe

Ingredients
1 teaspoon dried lavender flowers (or 2-3 fresh flower heads)
3 1/2 cups water
1/4 - 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
2 - 4 Tablespoons honey or maple syrup, to taste
Lemon slices and lavender springs for serving (optional)
Preparation
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat, add lavender and cover. Steep 15-20 minutes.
Strain out the herb and pour the infused liquid into a pitcher. Let cool slightly.
Stir in lemon juice and honey or maple syrup until fully dissolved.
Add the remaining 1 1/2 cups cold water. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Pour over ice and garnish with lemon slices and/or lavender sprigs if desired.
