Ingredients
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and black pepper to taste
Preparation
In a bowl, whisk together extra-virgin olive oil, fresh lemon juice, minced
garlic, Dijon mustard, maple syrup or honey, dried oregano, salt, and black
pepper.
Taste the dressing and adjust the salt, pepper, or sweetness according to
your preference.
Refrigerate the dressing for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the
flavors to meld.
Give the dressing a final stir before serving. Drizzle it over salads, grilled
vegetables, or use it as a marinade for chicken or fish.
Store any leftover dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for
up to one week.
